Feed Your Body!

Nutrition is such a controversial and confusing science!  Every decade there is a new fad, a new "don't" and a new miracle supplement.  This is tragic because there is nothing more fundamental to our health and quality of life than what we eat.  The dietary recommendations here are based on the most relevant dietary science as well as my personal and professional experience.  We can think of the dietary program as having three main goals:

  1. Create a foundation of health that provides all the building blocks for a strong and resilient body that can better heal injuries and deal with the stress of chronic pain.
  2. Reduce the foods and dietary practices that are contributing to inflammation, premature aging, low energy, weight issues, and pain.
  3. Make these changes in slow sustainable ways so they become long-term eating habits rather than a temporary fad diet.
